DENVER, Colorado — April 2024 — Ubiterra today announced the release of ZoneVu Version 6.4, a major update to the company’s cloud-native geosteering and subsurface operations platform. The release introduces powerful new reporting, visualization, geoprog automation, and API capabilities designed to improve operational efficiency and collaboration for upstream oil and gas operators.
ZoneVu 6.4 adds several significant new capabilities, including a flexible Report Generator, a highly configurable Viewer Layout Tool, an automated Geoprog Generator, and major expansions to the ZoneVu Web API and Python SDK ecosystem.
- The new Report Generator enables users to create multi-page PDF reports using drag-and-drop widgets, customizable layouts, and reusable templates that can be shared across teams and contractors. The feature helps standardize reporting workflows while reducing the time required to generate operational deliverables.
- The Viewer Layout Tool introduces a new level of flexibility to ZoneVu visualization workflows, allowing users to combine multiple 2D, 3D, map, and correlation views into customizable tabbed layouts tailored to specific operational roles or workflows.
- ZoneVu 6.4 also introduces the new Geoprog Generator, which automatically calculates geoprog tops by intersecting well plans with structural surfaces in 3D space. The resulting data can be exported directly into Excel workbooks and automatically stored within ZoneVu, significantly streamlining geoprog generation workflows.
In addition, Ubiterra expanded the ZoneVu Web API to support pushing and pulling all major ZoneVu datasets, enabling bulk project migration and deeper integration with customer workflows and third-party systems. The release also marks the publication of the ZoneVu Python SDK on PyPI, giving customers and partners a streamlined developer interface for automating data movement and workflow integration using Python.
