ZoneVu and AI Driller Announce Strategic Integration Partnership

April 23, 2025 – Denver, Colorado and Midland, Texas – ZoneVu by Ubiterra and AI Driller today announced their strategic integration partnership following collaborative deployment efforts for an independent Oil & Gas operator in Houston.

The integration enables geosteering interpretations generated inside ZoneVu to automatically flow into AI Driller’s drilling environment – giving drilling engineers and operations teams faster access to live subsurface context while drilling.

The partnership was built around a shared goal: reducing operational friction between drilling, directional, and geoscience teams by improving visibility and data continuity across systems.

ZoneVu serves as a cloud-based subsurface operations system for geosteering, geology, seismic, and completions workflows, while AI Driller provides real-time drilling optimization, automation, engineering, and operational intelligence solutions for drilling teams.

Together, the integration helps operators:

  • Improve visibility between drilling and geosteering teams
  • Reduce manual transfer of interpretation data between systems
  • Deliver real-time subsurface context directly into drilling workflows
  • Support faster operational decision-making
  • Create more connected, collaborative drilling environments

The integration leverages secure API connectivity between the two cloud-based platforms, allowing operators to control access and data sharing while maintaining operational flexibility.

“Operators are looking for ways to connect disciplines, reduce workflow inefficiencies, and make faster decisions with better context,” said Rachel Stocking, Director of Sales & Marketing at ZoneVu by Ubiterra. “This partnership helps bridge drilling and subsurface teams by bringing real-time geosteering intelligence directly into the environments where drilling decisions are being made.”

“AI Driller is focused on helping operators centralize drilling intelligence and improve operational execution in real time,” said Richard Zamora, Chief Operating Officer at AI Driller. “Integrating ZoneVu’s geosteering interpretations into our drilling environment gives teams additional subsurface awareness directly inside their operational workflows.”

The companies plan to continue evolving the integration over time, including expanded support for additional drilling, geoscience, and completions-related data workflows.
